SUMMARY
The X-Men are mutants born with unusual and strange powers. The X-Men must protect humankind from other mutants who want to use their powers for evil and destroy the humans. The X-Men are Marvel Comics #1 best selling comic book series. The first animated series featured Professor X, Cyclops, Jean Grey, Wolverine, Beast, Storm, Rogue, Gambit and Jubilee in their Jim Lee-styled costumes they wore at the time the series came out. After the Phoenix Saga in the third season, many episodes aired out of the original production order and some were held until later seasons. The final six episodes were produced by Marvel Studios and animation designs of some of the characters were updated.
