SUMMARY
Based on the 1975 live-action children's show Ghost Busters, Filmation wanted to capitalize on the 1984 Ghostbusters film, and produced this animated series.  When Columbia produced an animated version of the movie they had to name it the "Real Ghostbusters".  Jake and Eddie, the sons of the original Ghost Busters, who were played by Forrest Tucker and Larry Storch team-up with Tracy the gorilla, TV reporter Jessica, Futura and Belfry the bat against Prime Evil and his henchman.  A toyline was produced by Schaper Toys.
