SUMMARY
Mighty Mouse was under the 'Terrytoons' brand of cartoon shorts. Originally called Super Mouse, he soon became Mighty Mouse to avoid any lawsuits from DC Comics' Superman. Paul Terry sold the Terrytoons library to CBS for $3.5 million in 1955. Viacom/Paramount/CBS now own the property. Many of the original animated films are now public domain as well.
