SUMMARY
This new sequel series was made to celebrate the anniversary of the original Speed Racer.  An English dub was attempted in 2002 but due to legal issues with Tatsunoko and the now defunct Speed Racer Enterprises, the series production was canceled after 13 episodes.  Funimation released a English-subtitled version on Blu-Ray in North America in 2017.
