SUMMARY:
The first color produced Anime cartoon by Mushi Productions, co-developed for Japan and US audiences.  After NBC/NTA's rights to the series expired in 1978, the show was to revert back to Mushi Productions, but the company had gone bankrupt.  The series was tied up in courts for years and locked in a vault, until a solution was resolved.  In 1993 Worldwide, a Canadian syndication company, bought the series and in order to avoid legal issues, redubbed the series and produced new music for it.  This is the version that has been recently on television, but the original dub is available on DVD and VHS.
