SUMMARY
Originally a made for television animated movie, NBC decided to pick up the series for Saturday Morning.  The first season was serialized while the second season was made of two shorter episodes per show.  After the series was canceled, elements of the planned TV movie were used for a new animated film that aired during the season season on NBC.  The official show title card is just Flash Gordon, but many reference this series as ‘The New Adventures of Flash Gordon.’
