THE ROBONIC STOOGES

ORIGINAL AIRDATES: Sep 10, 1977-Jan 21, 1978 (as a segment on Skateboards); Jan 28, 1978-Sep 1978 (as its own series) on CBS
EPISODES: 16 half-hours
ANIMATION BY: Hanna-Barbera
DISTRIBUTED and OWNED BY: Warner Bros. Television and Turner Entertainment

SUMMARY
The Robonic Stooges feature Moe, Larry and Curly as cyborg agents working for Agent 000. The series began as short segments on The Skatebirds, which aired from September 1977 to January 1978.  When CBS canceled The Skatebirds mid-season, the trio got their own half-hour timeslot. The revised Robonic Stoogies show consisted of two segments of The Stooges and one of Woofer and Wimper, Dog Detectives (an edited version of Clue Club). Norman Maurer, Moe Howard’s son-in-law, also wrote and edited the scripts and contributed to the characters' design.
