SUMMARY:
One of the first all-new animated series produced for Nickelodeon, Doug is a pre-teen boy Doug that has just moved to the town of Bluffington. Doug has a crazy beatnik sister, Judy, dog Porkchop, best friend Skeeter, secret crush Patty Mayonnaise and rival Roger Klotz. After Doug was not picked up for a 5th season by Nickelodeon, Disney not only renewed the series in 1996, but purchased Jumbo Pictures and the rights to Doug. Nickelodeon has the distribution and ownership of the original 52 episodes. Disney owns the rights to the sequel series that aired on ABC, as well as future series if they decide to reboot it again.
