Batman: the Brave and the Bold swings through its sunset season in high style, deftly firing on all its Bat-cylinders. This game-changing, forward-thinking, nostalgia-steeped, meta-textual mix of comedy and adventure played a pivotal role in the liberation of Batman from the confines Dark Knights into the Batman of Many Seasons we all enjoy today. Joining Bats (voice of Diedrich Bader) and semi-regular allies Green Arrow (voice of James Arnold Taylor) and Aquaman (voice of John DiMaggio) are some powerhouse allies, including the Big Blue, Superman himself (voice of Roger Rose), as well as Martian Manhunter (voice of Nicholas Guest), Plastic Man (voice of Tom Kenny), The Flash (voice of Alan Tudyk) and Wonder Woman (voice of Vicki Lewis). Arrayed against our brave and bold heroes is a Who's Who of hissable villainy including The Joker (voice of Jeff Bennett) - who gets his own role reversal team-up episode, complete with theme - The Penguin (voice of Stephen Root), Cheetah (voice of Morena Baccarin), Black Manta (voice of Kevin Michael Richardson) and Golden Age great, The Weeper (voice of Tim Conway). It all culminates in one of the greatest series finales of all time, as Ambush Bug (voice of Henry Winkler) battles Bat-mite (voice of Paul Reubens) for the soul of a show.
